Delivery

Online orders over £50 and under 30 kg will be delivered by DPD UK-wide free of charge. Orders are usually delivered the next working day if they are placed before 3 p.m. (except on Saturdays and Sundays). Orders under £50 will incur a delivery fee of £3.95.

55 & 65-inch TVs will be sent via pallet service, which can take up to 3 working days.

Online orders over 30 kg and/or over certain dimensions (large items) can be delivered in a 15-mile radius free of charge direct from our superstore. Alternatively, these items can be collected.

  • Washing machines
  • Tumble Dryers
  • Washer Dryers
  • Dishwashers
  • Ovens

Installation services for TVs, washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers, tumble dryers, and ovens are available on request.

Delivery to the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, or the Channel Islands may incur an extra charge — please contact us for a quotation before placing an order.

We aim to process orders the same day and will contact you should your item be out of stock or delayed for any reason and offer you either a new delivery date or a refund.

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at shop@avensys.co.uk. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Returns at Avensys House, Fleming Way, Crawley, RH10 9JY. Please quote your order number and reason for return.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package or organise a DPD collection. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

The Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying any damage to the Goods returned where such damage has, in the opinion of the Seller, been caused by the Goods being inadequately packaged by the Buyer. Or through the Buyer's fault.

Maximum cooking surface embedded in a black, purist design with iconic pin-look air inlet nozzle. The hob can be connected to BORA JOY and the home network. BORA Assist makes cooking easier by setting various additional functions that can be controlled via the app or directly on the cooktop.

Even more intuitive operation

The BORA X Pure can be controlled using the tricoloured sControl+ touch panel. This makes it easy to differentiate between the different control settings. The intelligent cleaning lock automatically detects the length of time during which the cooktop is being cleaned and only deactivates at the end of this period. The bridging and automatic pan size recognition functions have been optimised.

Oversized surface induction cooking zones

The entire surface can be optimally used when cooking thanks to the extra-large surface induction cooking zones measuring 230 x 230 mm or 230 x 460 mm. This makes it ideal for anyone who frequently cooks with large pieces of cookware or uses several pots and pans at the same time.

BORA Assist for simpler cooking experiences

With the BORA X Pure, BORA Assist makes cooking simpler than ever. In combination with the BORA Pots and Pans Assist range and the BORA grill pan, the functions Fry (with temperature specific settings) and Boil (as a replacement for a kettle) can be used directly on the cooktop.

Features

Air inlet nozzle in an iconic design

The cooktop and extractor are completely flush-mounted. The extractor is concealed inconspicuously behind the iconic pinhole-look air inlet nozzle. The striking design features expressive lines coupled with the iconic air inlet nozzle, surrounded by endless black.

Variable heat retention function

Three heat retention levels with constant temperature regulation at 42, 74 or 94 °C for melting, keeping warm & simmering at the right temperature.  

Minimum volume

Always markedly quiet - even at high power levels: the reason lies in the optimum airflow and the use of an extremely low-noise fan in the kitchen plinth area. There are no distractions when cooking and no interruptions when entertaining.

Wi-Fi & Bluetooth connection

The BORA X Pure can be connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. This allows the BORA app and cooktop to be connected, software updates to be installed and unique BORA Assist functions to be controlled. 

Maximum storage space

At under 200 mm, the low installation height and integrated recirculation filter unit guarantee maximum storage space for pots and other kitchen utensils in the cupboard below. Even in 60-cm-deep kitchen units, no drawers need to be shortened in recirculation mode. A change from the norm.

Improved automatic extractor control

The extractor power regulates itself automatically according to the current cooking process, eliminating the need for manual intervention so you can focus all of your attention on your cooking.

Automatic bridging function

If a large enough cooking pot or roaster is placed on the two cooking zones that are one behind the other, they will automatically be combined to form one large cooking zone – perfect for the BORA grill pan.

Timer display accurate to the second

In addition to minutes, the remaining seconds are also displayed on the operating panel and can be freely set when using the timer.

How the BORA exhaust air model works

An exhaust air extractor channels the air that it draws in out into the open air. The system is linked to an exhaust pipe system with a wall sleeve, which leads to the outside via an opening in the building envelope. This opening can be in the exterior wall, the roof or the cellar.

How the BORA recirculation model works

With recirculation extractor systems, the air stays in the living space. The extractor draws away the air contaminated with cooking and frying odours as well as grease molecules, effectively filters it through a grease and activated charcoal filter, and releases the purified air back into the kitchen environment. The BORA activated charcoal filter binds the odour molecules from the waste steam. These filters must be changed regularly – every one or two years – to guarantee effective extractor performance. The system will tell you when you need to change the filter and you can also consult the operating instructions.
