The SRS-XV500 has a quick charging feature, which means that just a 10 minute charge will give you 2.5 hours of playback. So you’ll never be without your music for long. Even if your smartphone runs out of power, the party doesn't have to end. You can charge it back up by plugging it straight into the speaker.

When used at home, the SRS-XV500 can be left plugged into the mains with no concerns about over-charging the battery. The Battery Care feature ensures the battery remains protected when fully charged, helping to improve the life-span of the product.

The SRS-XV500 includes two microphone inputs, meaning you can plug in a mic to use the speaker as a PA system, or enjoy your own karaoke fun by singing along with your favourite songs. It even includes special karaoke features such as Key Control, which lets you adjust the pitch of a song to suit your vocal range. Alternatively, you can plug in a guitar to one of the inputs and use the SRS-XV500 as an amp.

Connectivity

With Party Connect via Bluetooth, the SRS-XV500 can wirelessly connect to up to 100 other compatible Sony speakers. Using the Music Center app, it’s simple to link the speakers together to create synchronised sound and lighting for an extra-large party.

And with the fantastic Stereo Pair feature, you can link the SRS-XV500 to a matching model to create one hugely powerful sound system - one speaker acting as the left channel, the other as the right.
